GXU Student Guan Hanzhi Wins Gold Medal in CMAS 18th World Cup Finswimming Indoor Golden Final

From October 17th to 20th, the CMAS 18th World Cup Finswimming Indoor Golden Final, hosted by Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (abbreviated as CMAS), was held in the coastal city of Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. Guan Hanzhi, a GXU 2023 undergraduate majoring in sports training, took part in the competition on behalf of the Chinese team and made outstanding performance in five individual events, winning two gold medals, one bronze medal, one fourth place, and one tenth place.

 

It is reported that this competition featured 62 individual events, and 431 athletes from 103 countries and regions around the world participated in the competition. Guan Hanzhi competed in five of these events and achieved excellent results, which are as follows: the first place in 200m scuba swimming, the first place in 400m scuba swimming, the third place in 100m scuba swimming, the fourth place in 4x100m finswimming, and the tenth place in 50m underwater swimming.
